Aurora Aksnes is born 15 June 1996 in Stavanger Norway. The name she is most commonly used for her professional work is Aurora or sometimes stylized with uppercase letters as AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th of 2015 and received great reviews from the music blogosphere as well as media. She's recorded a variety of well-known cover songs, like Half the World Away (by the group Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) The songs were widely appreciated.
